What? No more dorms?

With the transition from SOU to SHSU, housing for ABC shifted to local motels. The down side? Because students aren’t all residing in one complex, they no longer have access to study lounges and the dorm lobby for study groups. The up side? They can now study poolside, in picnic areas, and in one another’s rooms, all with wi-fi access.

Gone are our dear friends the housing & dorm staffers, but they’re replaced with wonderful motel staffers, maid service, air conditioned rooms with microwaves, coffee makers, sinks, and fridges, private bathrooms, comfortable queen sized beds, windows with screens, convenient free parking, and the option to hold a wine and cheese social.

Goodbye to the convenience of Elmo’s Dining and Java Union and the mad rushes to the dining hall for those with meal cards, and enter the fresh gourmet stylings of AZ Catering in the ultra-convenient AHS Commons without the bother of meal cards.
