Self-guided tours (part 1)

I’m experimenting with using Google Maps to build some self-guided tours for ABCers. Tour routes may take you out of cell service for a portion of the trip, so be sure to save all needed info to your mobile device or print out before departure.

Flagship to Crater Lake waterfall tour guides you from the Flagship Inn directly to Oregon’s only National Park, the spectacular Crater Lake, provides four options for picturesque lunch stops, and brings you back through the lush forests along the North Umpqua River. Choose to visit three or four easy-access waterfalls or if you’re an experienced hiker you could trek into one or two hidden gems. Or if you prefer wines to waterfalls, continue to Oregon’s oldest viticulture region in the Umpqua Valley or backtrack to the Bear Creek Valley for a wide selection of wineries and tasting rooms.
