Open House

Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater

Located in downtown Medford, the Craterian is home to our June 26 concert. Originally a 1920s vaudeville theater and movie house, the 775-seat "Crate" was renovated in 1997. It was then re-christened in honor of long-time Rogue River Ranch owner Ginger Rogers, who had toured the vaudeville circuit as a teen, performing at the Craterian in 1926.

The stage handily fits the split bands, but has grown quite cramped for the full band.

Beneath the stage lie a spacious green room, dressing rooms, and storage space for instrument cases. Stairways on either end provide easy access to both stage left and stage right. Case storage is also available on the second story, near where performer photos are taken.
