Recycling drops are located in the upper and lower commons, or you can turn them in at most stores for 10¢ per item (recently expanded from soft drink, water, or beer only to include most 4 oz to 1.5 liter (some up to 3 liter) sealed glass, metal, or plastic beverage containers—find complete list here). Larger stores such as Albertsons and Market of Choice have automated bottle and can returns that print out a receipt redeemable at any checkstand. You can also cash them in at any BottleDrop (the nearest is in Medford, about 6 blocks west of the mall/In-n-Out) or BottleDrop Express (Shop-N-Kart or Ashland Food Co-Op) location.
